Since its establishment in 1996 by Sivi Pather, the firm has become a pillar of reliability and excellence within the legal and business sectors across South Africa.

The Executive Committee

Sivi Pather

Founder Sivi heads up the litigation, commercial and labour law departments. He has litigated on high-profile cases in all the High Courts in South Africa, as well as the Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court.

Sivi is an accredited International Mediator of The London School of Mediation and a member of the Arbitrators Association of South Africa. He is passionate about Alternative Dispute Resolution and has completed Harvard Law School’s negotiation programme.

Erashini Sirpal

Erashini is a senior executive responsible for managing the financial actions of Pather and Pather Attorneys Inc. Erashini joined Pather and Pather Attorneys as a billing clerk in 2003, progressed to be the office manageress in 2005 and has since moved on to the title of Head of Administration.

Through her 19 years of service, she has become a pillar in the establishment and an integral member of the Pather and Pather family.

Raeesa Cassim

Raeesa heads up the firm’s corporate commercial division and is an admitted notary. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, general finance, development finance, preference share funding transactions, BEE financing, structured finance, secured and syndicated lending, project finance as well as general corporate and commercial matters.

Sisanda Linda

Sisanda deals with commercial law, company law, contract law and property law for several parastatals, including the Industrial Development Corporation of SA, the Public Investment Corporation, Transnet SOC Limited, several Municipalities and commercial banks in SA.

Stephanie Ephraim

Stephanie Ephraim, an MBA graduate, our Practice Manager, brings over 20 years of client and project management experience, along with an MBA and ongoing LLB studies, ensuring our firm’s excellence. Her client-focused skills and project management expertise create lasting partnerships and streamline operations, a testament to her effective leadership in optimizing our firm’s strategy and client success.
